Product description
The Shinobu distillery is located in the Japanese prefecture of Niigata and was founded in 2017 by master brewer Ken Usami, who also lives in the same building. Until he can bottle his own whisky, he experiments with whiskies from all over the world and matures them in casks made of Japanese Mizunara oak. The 15-year-old bottling was previously matured in sherry and bourbon casks.

    Geschmack: Ölig mit Anklängen von reifen Früchten, dazu Akzente von Mizunaraholz, Milchkaffee, Zitronenschale und Leder. Nuancen von Zimt und Ingwer folgen nach.
