Product description
The Lum Reek blend series was created at the Glenallachie distillery under the direction of Billy Walker (formerly of Benriach and Glendronach). With 'Lang my yer lum reek' (Long may your chimney smoke), the Scots used to wish for a long and successful life. For the Blended Malts, heavily peated Islay and Speyside malts were blended with Glenallachie whisky. Each edition was matured by Billy Walker in a precisely tailored selection of casks.

The GlenAllachie Distillery, located in the famous Speyside region, is one of Scotland's younger distilleries, but since its takeover in 2017 by Billy Walker and his team, it has quickly made a name for itself with its high-quality Single Malt Whiskies. The name GlenAllachie comes from Gaelic and means ‘Valley of Stones’, which underlines the distillery's deep connection to the region. In addition to classic bottlings, the distillery has also been producing the peated Meikle Tòir since 2018, which is a special discovery for fans of smoky Speyside Whiskies. read more

Aroma: Der Nase schmeichelt der 12 Jahre alte Blend mit süßen Noten und Torfrauch. Milchschokolade und eine feine Kaffeenote sind präsent.

Geschmack: Der MacNair's Lum Reek 12 Jahre legt sich mit Torfrauch auf die Zunge. Er bringt Noten aus Heidekraut mit und aus Butterscotch. Toffee und Gewürze sind präsent.

Abgang: Der Abgang ist mittellang. Der Blend verabschiedet sich rauchig. Heidekraut bleibt erhalten sowie süße Noten aus Toffee.
