Variety Single Malt Whisky
Aroma Sweet and savoury at the same time with glazed cherries and smoked meat. Stewed plums and gummy bears, plus maple syrup with bacon and slightly medicinal, smoky notes. A hint of orange peel.
Taste Waxy and smoky-sweet with citrus fruits, caramel biscuits, marzipan, lemon zest and icing sugar. This is followed by wax crayons, dried fruit and a hint of clove.
Finish Medium length and earthy flavours of grain, black forest cake, dark chocolate and dark fruits.

Longrow is the smoky Single Malt Whisky from the Springbank distillery. This particularly rare, smoky malt is only produced once a year in Campbeltown. The 21-year-old matures 95% in sherry casks, to which a small proportion of 5% bourbon casks were added.

    Aroma: Süß und zugleich herzhaft mit glasierten Kirschen und geräuchertem Fleisch. Pflaumenkompott und Gummibärchen, dazu Ahornsirup mit Speck sowie leicht medizinisch-rauchige Noten. Ein Hauch Orangenschale.  
    Geschmack: Wachsweich und rauchig-süß mit Zitrusfrüchten, Karamellkeksen, Marzipan, Zitronenschale und Puderzucker. Es folgen Wachsmalstifte, getrocknete Früchte und ein Hauch Nelke.
    Abgang: Mittellang und erdig nach Getreide, Schwarzwälderkirschtorte, dunkler Schokolade sowie dunklen Früchten.  
    Fasstyp: 95% Sherryfässer und 5% Bourbonfässer
