Product description
Johnny Drum Private Stock is produced at the Willet distillery in Kentucky. Willet is one of the few American distilleries that distil in Pot Stills. Thompson Willet, who founded the distillery in Bardstown in 1936 shortly after the repeal of Prohibition, developed the special Johnny Drum Bourbon exclusively for a vendor in California. In the meantime, his Private Stock is also available outside California.

    Aroma: süßer Mais, würzige Röstaromen, Karamell, Vanille, gebrannte Mandeln, Tannenduft, etwas Aceton, etwas Alkohol - mit etwas Wasser: fruchtiger, zusätzlich Saftorangen
    Geschmack: starker würziger Antritt, Roggenwürze, Karamell, Saftorangen, Ingwerschärfe
    Abgang: lang und fruchtig-würzig, leicht trocken werdend, würziger Roggen und milde Eiche bleiben sehr lang
    Kommentar: ein wunderbarer und fruchtig-würziger Bourbon (deutlicher Roggenanteil) mit sehr guten Preisleistungsverhältnis - 4,3 Sterne - eine Inspiration von "Whiskey Jason" - Whiskey aus der Sicht eines Amerikaners
