The American High West distillery is located in the 'high west' of the USA, in the state of Utah in the Wasatch-Uinta Mountains. The Prairie Bourbon is named after the American Prairie Reserve, one of the largest nature reserves in the USA. The reserve is home to the endangered pronghorn antelope, America's fastest inhabitants. With the Prairie Bourbon, the High West distillery supports the American Prairie Reserve organisation, which works to preserve the antelopes.

Kommentar: Solide, ein wirklich schöner solider Bourbon. Keine Ecken und Kanten, sehr angenehm das Aroma...typisch Bourbon mit Eiche, Vanille Süße. Der Gaumen sagt: nicht überladen und ganz sanfte eichige, süße Geschmäcker. Der Abgang ist kurz bis mittellang und zeigt nochmal frisches Holz mit Gewürzen. Sehr schöner, einfacher Bourbon. Das gibt glatte 3 Punkte
