Hemingway Whiskeys is a family-run distillery with over 230 years of distilling tradition. The Call family, now in its eighth generation, crafts each bottle with dedication and craftsmanship. Their story began before Kentucky became a state, when Samuel Call built a distillery in what is now Bourbon County. Today, Master Distillers Ron, Jacob and Clayton Call, along with founder Steve Groth, continue the tradition and innovation. The Signature Edition Rye Whiskey combines 90 % six-year-old Indiana Straight Rye Whiskey and 10 % four-year-old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey (95 % rye, 5 % malted barley) and matures in Oloroso sherry barrels pre-treated with rum. The keyboard-style bottle labelling emphasises the rye content and the careful craftsmanship.
