George Dickel Bottled in Bond is an exclusive Tennessee whisky from the George Dickel distillery in Cascade Hollow. The mash is made from 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley, and the whisky is filtered through sugar maple charcoal before ageing, giving it a particularly smooth and balanced profile. It is matured for 13 years and bottled at 100 proof (50 % vol.). The designation "Bottled in Bond" goes back to a US law from 1897, which ensures that the whisky comes from a single distillation season of a distillery, matures for at least four years and is bottled at exactly 100 proof. This batch, distilled in autumn 2005, has a rich, complex flavour with notes of dark fruit, vanilla, toasted oak and subtle spice, leading to a long, complex finish. George Dickel Bottled in Bond stands for craftsmanship, authenticity and transparency and allows whisky lovers to enjoy the authentic taste of a Tennessee whisky.

Well, in fact, George Dickel Whisky is a Straight Bourbon Whiskey that is produced in Tennessee. These are the two requirements to be met if a product is to be called a Tennessee Whiskey.
