Flor de Caña 25 is a premium rum aged for 25 years from sustainable production that stands for quality and responsibility in equal measure. Produced by Flor de Caña, a traditional distillery with origins in Nicaragua, this rum is characterised by climate-neutral production and fair trade certification. The family history of the brand dates back to 1890, when production began at the foot of an active volcano and developed over five generations into an internationally renowned premium rum brand. The rum has elegant notes of vanilla, roasted wood and intense, dark cocoa and impresses on the palate with hints of almonds, nuts and a fine fruity sweetness, while the rum is also produced entirely without artificial additives or sugar. The complex characteristics are mainly due to the long, natural maturation in former bourbon barrels, which give the distillate additional depth, harmony and softness. The secret family recipe, which has been passed down for generations, characterises the smooth, long-lasting finish of this premium rum. The Italian Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa founded the Flor de Caña Rum distillery in 1890 at the foot of the San Cristobál volcano in Nicaragua. The distillery is still family-owned and is now run by the fifth generation.

Geschmack: Angenehm trocken und hamonisch, sich stetig entwickelnd und dabei geprägt von Karamell, pfeffriger Schärfe und cremiger Bourbonvanille. Im Hintergrund würzige Mandelfacetten und tropische Früchte.
