Product description
Dalmore Port Wood Reserve initially matured in American white oak casks, after which the whisky was split. One half continued to mature in the white oak casks, while the other half was filled into old tawny port pipes from W&J Graham's vineyard. The subsequent marrying process gave the Single Malt a balanced and richly flavoured character.

Dalmore is a high-quality Highland distillery with a good Whisky and an elegant bottle design. The distillery was long run by the noble Scottish Mackenzie clan. A member of the clan once saved King Alexander III's life while stag hunting by stabbing a deer attacking him at the last second. The king was so grateful that he allowed the Mackenzie clan to bear the royal twelve-tailed stag on their coat of arms. This symbol is still displayed on Dalmore bottles today.
