Dalmore
Dalmore is a high-quality Highland distillery with a good Whisky and an elegant bottle design. The distillery was long run by the noble Scottish Mackenzie clan. A member of the clan once saved King Alexander III's life while stag hunting by stabbing a deer attacking him at the last second. The king was so grateful that he allowed the Mackenzie clan to bear the royal twelve-tailed stag on their coat of arms. This symbol is still displayed on Dalmore bottles today.     Kommentar: In der Nase volles Aroma mit Sherry, Süße, Früchten und leichter Würze. Auf der Zunge dann mehr Gewürze, Sherry und Früchte bleiben weiterhin. Der Abgang dann wirklich kräftig herb mit geröstetem Kaffee und völlig anders als die Nase!
    Ein wirklich komplexer Whisky mit vielen Facetten für "nur" 12 Jahre und 40%, v.a. der Unterschied von Nase und Abgang ist wirklich prägend hier.
