Product description
The Cutty Sark was one of the fastest sailing ships of its time and can still be seen today in London as a museum ship. The Blend, named after this clipper, is 12 years old and has significantly more sherry influence than the standard bottling due to the maturation in hand-selected Bourbon and Sherry casks. The bottler of the Blend has been La Martiniquaise since 2018. France's second-largest spirits group also owns the Glen Moray distillery and Starlaw distillery, for example.

    Aroma: Eindeutig exotische Früchte (Ananas), Vanille, Marzipan, leichter Sherry, ölige Grainnote, usw.

    Geschmack: Würzig, filigran und ungemein sherrylastig: Sherryobst, Nougat, Karamel und Zitrone.

    Abgang: Mittel. Intensive Grainnote mit Rosinen und Nougatstücken.

    Kommentar: Kein Whisky der mich umhaut! Preis/Leistung ist ganz fair! Mehr aber auch nicht. Es gibt bessere Blend-Whiskies (z. B. Turntable) die ihr Geld wert sind.

    Kommentar: für den Preis ok, man darf nicht zu viel erwarten, schätze dass ein hoher Grain Anteil in diesem Blend ist. Für Cocktails, zum kochen, Marmeladen verfeinern genau richtig.
