Aroma Distinct buttery notes and a characteristic hint of sea salt together with notes of ginger bread and pecan pie.
Taste Creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and crystallised brown sugar combine with subtle accents of peat smoke.
Finish Persistent with peat smoke. A pleasant leathery note develops over time.

Product description
All five malts from the three distilleries in the Campbeltown region were used for the Campbeltown Loch. The whisky was bottled in casks at the Springbank distillery and consists exclusively of whisky from each of Campbeltown's five whisky brands: Springbank, Hazelburn, Longrow, Kilkerran and Glen Scotia. The small town of Campbeltown was the centre of Scottish whisky production in the 19th century. Today, there are only three distilleries left, two of which are owned by Springbank.

    Kommentar: Sehr intensiver Geschmack. Wahnsinnig wie intensiv er nach in Alkohol eingelegten Früchten riecht und schmeckt. Sehr frischte Früchte. Der Sherry ist ebenfalls ziemlich scharf, aber noch im angenehmen Bereich. Für den Preis wirklich zu empfehlen.

    Aroma: Die erste Nase ist geballte grain-Power, verfliegt aber schnell und es folgen Cerealien, gesüßte Haferflocken, abgeschwächtes Sherryprofil, speckiges Leder, gedörrte Früchte, Werkstatt, fruchtig, Multivitamin, Grapefruit, Feuerholz

    Geschmack: Fuchtig, sehr mild und weich, Pfeffer blitzt kurz auf, Chiliöl, ätherisch, gefährlich süffig

    Abgang: Kurz, fruchtig, klebrig, pfeffrig

    Kommentar: Hochgradig easy drinking, eine Großflasche würde bestimmt schnell leer werden. Ein Springbank 12 oder 15 Jahre light

    Kommentar: schmutzig und dreckig. Nüsse, Hafenbecken, Meer, Rauch, Süße....der erste Eindruck ist sehr gut, aber für ein Fazit muss ich ihn noch öfter probieren
