The Old Bushmills Distillery is probably the oldest licensed Whiskey distillery in the world - its licence dates back to 1608. It was officially founded in 1784 by Hugh Anderson in the Northern Irish town of Bushmills. Since then, Bushmills has been synonymous with traditionally triple-distilled, mild Irish Whiskey.     Ein guter Standard seit vielen Jahren. Unschlagbares PLV. Wenn am Lagerfeuer getrunken wird und Nosing Gläser ganz weit weg sind. Im Sommer on the rocks oder mit viel kaltem Wasser. Im Winter im Irish Coffee. Passt immer! Guter Reisebegleiter in Länder mit Montezumas Rache.

    Kommentar: Weich, süffig, durchaus gelungen. 1 Liter mit 75% Single-Malt-Anteil und Sherryfass-Einfluss - ich hatte mehrere Singlemalts, die teurer, älter und schlechter waren.
