Product description
Blackened is a blend of hand-picked, well-aged North American Bourbon and Rye whiskeys, which resulted from a collaboration between the late Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and the band Metallica. The Blend was matured in a unique way in black brandy barrels while being exposed to sound waves, known as black noise, from Meyer Sound jukeboxes. This allows the liquid to penetrate deeper into the barrel staves. A very creative, new approach to maturation. Meyer Sound has already worked with international music greats such as Metallica to provide both the band and the audience with the best possible sound. The whiskey was bottled at cask strength without chill-filtering.
