	Aroma	Intense oak notes with nutmeg. Sweeter aromas of baked figs, sultanas and black cherries follow.
	Taste	Fruit cake with roasted almonds and cinnamon. In addition, tart oranges and mandarins as well as honey, sugar and baked apricots. Complex peppery notes in the background.
	Finish	Creamy and spicy after dark chocolate, walnuts and dark fruits.

Product description

The Arran distillery has now been in existence for 25 years. On the occasion of this anniversary, this 25-year-old Single Malt was bottled. Only 1995 distilled spirit from 35% sherry casks and 65% bourbon casks was used. The malt was also matured for twelve months in first fill and refill sherry hogsheads.

The Distillery:

The Lochranza distillery is located on the Isle of Arran, after which it was initially named. In 2019, Lagg, the second distillery on the island, opened. As a result, Arran renamed itself Lochranza to better distinguish it. However, the Single Malt Whisky is still available under the Arran brand. read more
