Aroma Notes of sweet, roasted grain and accents of sage and rosemary. Ripe strawberries, highland honey and spicy notes of blackcurrant follow, before floral hints of roses, violets and a hint of cinnamon.
Taste Fruity and balanced with pleasantly creamy vanilla notes and fine red wine spice as well as a hint of sweetness.
Finish Gentle and long-lasting.

Product description
For 21 long years, this Aberfeldy Single Malt Whisky rested deep in the Highlands. It joins the successful French Wine Cask Finish series and breathes the flavours of sweet heather, wild flowers, precious woods and fine fruits. The malt was matured for 8 months in red wine casks that were previously filled with Malbec red wine from Argentina. The Malbec grape is grown in Mendoza, Argentina's largest wine-growing region. The French grape variety belongs to the Bourdeaux grape varieties and presents facets of fruity spice in terms of flavour, which often contain typical plum and tobacco notes.

Aroma: Noten von süßem, geröstetem Getreide und Akzenten von Salbei und Rosmarin. Es folgen reife Erdbeeren, Hochlandhonig und würzige Noten von schwarzer Johannisbeere, ehe blumige Anklänge von Rosen, Veilchen und ein Hauch Zimt folgen.

Geschmack: Fruchtig und ausbalanciert mit angenehm cremigen Vanillenoten und feiner Rotweinwürze sowie einem Hauch Süße.
