Ballechin is the smoky bottling range of the Edradour distillery and was named after a farmhouse distillery that has since closed.
This bottling is the first 10-year-old since the beginning of 2003 and therefore does not bear a vintage. The whisky is strongly smoky and was mainly matured in ex-bourbon casks, as well as a small part in oloroso sherry casks.

    Kommentar: Klassischer rauchiger Whisky, gut aber nicht besonders. Rauch, Süße und Malz mit einem hauch Citrus in der Nase. Im Geschmack Rauch und etwas Frucht. Abgang mittellang mit Rauch und herben Noten.
