Deanston Bourbon Barrel - The Single Malts of Scotland is bottled exclusively for Kirsch Import by The Single Malts of Scotland (Elixir Distillers), an independent bottler specialising in premium Single Malt Scotch Whiskies. The Deanston Distillery, originally a cotton mill, uses only Scottish barley from the region and is rarely recognised by independent bottlers. The Deanston 16 year old from Bourbon casks at 53.4% vol. cask strength shows the Highland character in its purest form. Classic vanilla and oak tones combine with honey sweetness, malt, fresh fruit notes of apple and citrus peel as well as fine caramel biscuits.
